Your resource for all things gifted in Bellevue...
This website is home to a number of gifted groups in Bellevue who are uniting to share information. We have current students and families throughout the District in different programs, as well as alumni, joining together. While there are a number of viewpoints, we all agree on having the right support available for each student. Gifted students have a range of needs, as do families of gifted children!
We are a group of volunteers building community through outreach and education, and providing tools to advocate for gifted students in Bellevue. We welcome input on how to strengthen this site and are planning to add pages with more resources. Please join in the effort to create a strong gifted community and meet the needs of each child.
Changes to the Gifted Program Planned
The Gifted Advisory Committee was notified on Thursday, March 15 that Cherry Crest will become a second Gifted Elementary School Program site beginning in the 2012-13 school year. The GAC held two community forums on March 19th and March 21st to provide parends an update on program changes and to collect input from parents.
